Johanna Sepúlveda holds a Master's degree and a PhD in Electrical Engineering - Microelectronics from the University of São Paulo, Brazil. She has been a senior researcher in the area of security and emerging technologies at the University of South Brittany (France), INRIA (France), and the Technical University of Munich (Germany). Currently, she serves as Airbus's Senior Expert in Quantum Security Technologies and the Technical Area Manager for Quantum Technologies across Airbus Defence and Space, as Chief Engineer of various European quantum initiatives such as the European Quantum Communication Infrastructure (EuroQCI). She is also Vice-Chair of the Quantum Technologies Strategic Advisory Board for the European Commission and responsible for the Strategic Roadmap for Industry at the European Quantum Industry Consortium (QuIC). She has over 15 years of experience in R&T and R&D in the field of security, networked systems, supercomputing, and quantum technologies.

Noel Farrugia is a computer engineer and holds a PhD from the University of Malta, where his research focused on multi-objective optimization in computer networks using Software-Defined Networking (SDN) architecture. His academic work explored innovative ways to improve network efficiency and adaptability, laying the foundation for his expertise in cybersecurity and next-generation digital infrastructure. Outside of academia, he has worked as a developer and team leader. He is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Merqury Cybersecurity, a leading startup focused on developing quantum security solutions to protect data and communications in an era of rapidly advancing quantum technologies.

Eleni Diamanti is a CNRS research director at the LIP6 laboratory at the Sorbonne University in Paris. She received her PhD in electrical engineering from Stanford University in 2006 and completed her postdoctoral research as a Marie Curie fellow at the Institut d'Optique Graduate School in Palaiseau before joining the CNRS in 2009. Her research focuses on experimental quantum cryptography and communication, as well as the development of photonic resources and applications for quantum networks. She is a European Research Council Starting Grant recipient, coordinator of the Paris Center for Quantum Technologies, and was awarded the CNRS Silver Medal and Innovation Medal in 2024. She is also a member of the European Quantum Technologies Flagship Strategic Advisory Board and co-founder and scientific advisor of the start-up Welinq, specializing in quantum interconnection technologies.
